Circus of satyagrah hampered Ramdev’s credibility

Baba Ramdev is going to end his 8 days long fast on the request of Ravishankar, the guru of Art of living. But this whole episode had became a nightmare for Ramdev. Baba Ramdev’s Satyagrah against the police atrocities and corruption had lost its intensity and impact in just seven days. Even a single incident was not reported from any part of the country where mass satyagrah was held and thousands of Baba’s followers attended it. BJP and all frontal organizations of RSS tried their best to convert it into a mass movement but failed. The whole episode had hampered Baba’s image and credibility a lot. Ramdev used to claim that he has 10 crores followers behind him .This incident had proved that his claim is a hyperbolic political statement. Now Baba’s credibility is under the cloud of doubts. His assets are under scanner and his honesty is regularly questioned in the public arena He had degraded himself as a puppet of RSS and BJP.Baba Ramdev has to pay a big cost for his political misadventure. He had invited a great trouble for him by joining the hands of Sangh Parivaar . Although Baba was claiming that over 10 crores people would attend his satyagrah all over India. He had also claimed that at least one crore people would attend his satyagrah at Ramlila ground in Delhi. But now it is clear that only 50 thousands people attended his satyagrah at Ramlila ground. Even the police evacuated forcefully his Dharna but he had failed to mobilize his followers against the action of Delhi police. The whole movement got failed and it had a little impact all over the country. Average impact was observed in the BJP ruled states where BJP and RSS cadre took part in the satyagrah but it was also a single day show of strength. It is quite evident that Baba had lost grip over his followers due to involvement of BJP and RSS in the satyagrah. When he was taken to hospital last day only few hundreds BJP workers and his followers came on the streets in Hariwar. There was no impact was observed in adjoining Dehradun city. It shows that how rapidly Baba Ramdev had lost his ground. It was not only the failure of Baba Ramdev but also complete failure of Sangh parivaar who was expecting a mass movement out of it. The strategy which was derived by RSS stalwart Govindacharya, S. Gurumurthy, Ajit Dobhal and house of representative of RSS, also badly failed. But both organizations are not ready to loose their grip over Baba. Senior BJP and RSS leaders are closely in touch with Baba Ramdev. Sushma Swaraj, Uma Bharti, Govindacharya and Uttrakhand’s C.M. Nishank frequently talking with Baba. Baba Ramdev has no other option left behind only to go with BJP&RSS way. Because He can not afford to annoy BJP ruled state government. It is only Uttrakhand govt which may help Baba from the several investigations including forge passport charge . Thus the whole episode had proven a big blow to Ramdev and RSS. Congress succeeded to brand Baba’s satyagrah as RSS and BJP conspiracy against UPA. Although Ramdev was lucky enough to get 24x7 hours unprecedented support from media but it had also proven futile . Baba’s assets had raise several eyebrows in the public and his honesty was continuously questioned in roadside debates. It was first time when Baba Ramdev’s integrity was severely hampered. The turn over of Rs 1100 crores remained in the focus and also questioned by the common people . Is Baba’s era over, This the question which is being asked everywhere in public domain. The arrogance and ego compelled Ramdev to commit a political hara-kiri .
