NAC recommendations unconstitutional: Janmanch

Uttrakhand Janmanch today strongly condemned National Advisory Council’s move for street vendors. Janmanch Secretary General Rajen Todariya termed it as unconstitutional and dangerous for the federal character of the nation. In a statements released here he told that National Advisory Council is move may cause anarchy in urban areas of country. It will trigger the encroachments on government land and make urban life more unregulated and difficult. It may also cause law and order problems in the cities. The infiltration of outsiders will increase and social tensions may hamper the normal life. He said that state governments have constitutional rights to regulate the population of street vendors . Central Government has no right to take this in her hand. He said National Advisory Council should not play vote bank card. He said N.A.C. should confine herself to find the solutions for the larger issues before the nation.
