The picture of Uttrakhand assembly is still not clear. It is first time when nobody in a position to predict the shape of the assembly. Political pandits also unable to forecast the exact picture of the assembly. There is a close contest in the 50 segments out of seventy total. Although Cong had slight advantage over BJP but it is difficult to claim that Cong may get majority its own. Rajen Todariya analysed the politcal scenario of Uttrakhand in a article published in a Hindi Daily Haribhumi.
